Scanel offers service and repair on electromechanical equipment either on location or at our own electromechanical workshop. With an working area of 1000 m2, and an crane capacity of 10 ton, we can handle electromechanical equipment with a capacity of up to 3 MW. 
 
NEMKO certified to execute  service and repair on  Exe og Exd electrical - motors.    
                              
Testing of bearings   
A test of the bearings will reveal any defects. Often bearings are damaged as a result of being exposed to hard wear or vibration from elements, which are out of balance. Having a balanced system, some of the benefits you will gain are:

  • The reliability is improved
  • The performance of the machine is improved
  • The use of resources are minimized
  • The risk of damage and breakdown is minimized

Vibration measurement
Scanel offers vibration measurement of machine classes 1 to 6. The measurement can be done both in port and at sea. Our measurement will quickly reveal any defects, which we can remedy on site.
 
Alignment with laser technology
Alignment of different mechanical parts can often be done with laser technology. Laser alignment can successfully be used in connection with:

  • Electric motors and ventilation installations
  • Engines and pump installations
  • Generators installations

A correct alignment is vital for the running of the machine and means:

  • Less strain on bearings and connections
  • Less energy consumption
  • Less vibrations
  • Improved economy
  • Increased safety

Winding analysis and diagnosis
Analysis/diagnosis shows the condition of the insulation between phases from windings to frames, along with the capacity of the coils. Documentation for
changes will always be forwarded.
 
Rewinding
All types of rewinding are done at our electromechanical
workshop. Electric motors, AC and DC, generators,
transformers etc. All materials are environmentally
desirable products.
