Ultra-modern Voyager in final phase

Scanel electrical installation and HVAC on Voyager
Our colleagues in Skagen are working hard on the final phase of the ultra-modern fishing vessel Voyager. This new 86.4m trawler/purse seiner is being built at Karstensens Shipyard for owners Arnold and Robert McCullough.

Designed by Salt Ship Design, Voyager is the largest vessel built at Karstensens to date. Scanel is responsible for the electrical installation and ventilation. The ventilation includes a duct of such large dimensions that our colleagues had to assemble it on board from 10 separate pieces.

The McCullough brothers, from Kilkeel in Northern Ireland, are due to take delivery of Voyager at the end of August. The Scanel Marine, HVAC and Engineering teams are proud to work on this exciting project.
